Ian’s passions are technology, trading markets, building leaders, and joining hackathons. His career spans R&D technical and leadership roles in building enterprise software for Banking, Insurance, Payments, the Public Sector, Retail, Supply Chain, Cloud Engineering, and Application Security.
Ian is a Senior Director at Finastra, a global FinTech leader known for FusionFabric.cloud open innovation platform, a pioneering Open Development Platform for Financial Services allowing players in the ecosystem (such as startups, fintechs, banks, universities, and the like) to collaborate in building, deploying and monetizing innovative solutions in the cloud.
He heads the Core Banking and Digital Engineering group in Manila which includes Product R&D, Architecture & Quality Engineering for Retail & Commercial Banking, and Payments Management solutions.
Ian completed his MBA majoring in Finance with a gold medal, and his Bachelor degree in Computer Science from De La Salle University.  He holds certifications in Project Management, Scrum, Scaled Agile Framework, and Java.
